DingerAI Baseball
Effective Date: April 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pawsitive Training LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DingerAI Baseball mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials provided through Apple Sign-In or email/password registration.
Profile Information. During onboarding, we collect information you provide, including first and last name, date of birth or age, position (hitter, pitcher, etc.), skill level, graduation year, school name, training goals, and self-reported performance stats.
Video Content. When you upload a video of your swing or pitching delivery for AI analysis, we store the video file and process its contents.
User-Generated Content. We collect game logs, at-bat entries, chat messages with the AI coach, outreach emails sent to college coaches, and other data you actively provide through the Service.
Usage Data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including video analyses performed, chat messages sent, features accessed, sessions logged, and time spent in various sections.
Device Information. We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash/error logs.
Subscription Data. When you purchase a subscription, we receive information from Apple and RevenueCat about your subscription status, plan, and renewal dates, but we do not receive your payment card information.
DingerAI uses Google's Gemini AI service (operated by Google LLC) to analyze your uploaded videos and generate coaching feedback. You are asked to consent to this data sharing the first time you submit a video for analysis.
When you submit a video:
Google's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google represents that data submitted via the Gemini API is not used to train their public models without explicit opt-in.
You can revoke consent at any time by emailing kevin@pawsitivetraining.org to delete your account and all associated data.
We use your information to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Service; (b) process your videos through AI analysis to generate coaching feedback; (c) maintain your account and profile; (d) process subscription payments and manage access to paid features; (e) provide customer support and respond to inquiries; (f) send service-related communications (account verification, subscription confirmations, important updates); (g) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats; (h) analyze usage patterns to improve features and performance; (i) comply with legal obligations.
We share information with the following third parties strictly as needed to operate the Service:
Google Cloud (Firebase). We use Firebase for authentication, database storage, video storage, and analytics. Your account data, profile information, User Content, and usage data are stored on Firebase servers.
Google (Gemini API). When you upload a video for analysis, we send the video to Google's Gemini API for AI processing. Google processes the video according to its own privacy policies and returns analysis results to us.
Apple. We use Apple's Sign In with Apple service for authentication and Apple's App Store for subscription billing. Apple receives information necessary to authenticate you and process payments.
RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription state and entitlements. RevenueCat receives your subscription data and a user identifier.
AppsFlyer. We use AppsFlyer to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and understand how users engage with the Service. AppsFlyer receives device identifiers and event data to attribute app installs and user actions to specific ad campaigns. This helps us improve our marketing and measure return on ad spend. You can opt out of tracking by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt or disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in your iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Service Providers. We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Service (e.g., crash reporting, customer support tools). These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property or those of others.
Business Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
If you use the Recruit tier, the Service enables you to send emails to college baseball coaches directly from your own email account through iOS Mail. These emails originate from you, not from us. We store the fact that you sent an outreach email (recipient, date, subject) to help you track your outreach. The email content itself, once sent through your personal mail app, is not retained by us beyond any drafts you store in the Service.
Coach contact information displayed in the Service is compiled from publicly available sources.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile information, videos, game logs, chat messages, outreach logs, and usage data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes. We do not perform facial recognition, extract biometric data, or use any face information for identification. Videos are analyzed for body posture, swing mechanics, and movement patterns only.
Access and Update. You can access and update your profile information within the App.
Delete Account. You can delete your account through the Settings screen in the App. This will remove your personal information and User Content from our active systems within 30 days.
Subscription Management. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
Communications. You can opt out of non-essential emails by adjusting your account preferences or emailing kevin@pawsitivetraining.org.
California Residents (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have rights to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, email kevin@pawsitivetraining.org.
EU/UK Residents (GDPR). If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing of, and port your personal information, as well as rights to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email kevin@pawsitivetraining.org.
The Service is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us at kevin@pawsitivetraining.org.
Users between 13 and 18 should use the Service with parental involvement and consent.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure authentication through Firebase and Apple, access controls limiting who can view user data, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
The Service integrates with third-party services, including Apple, Google (Firebase and Gemini), and RevenueCat. Each of these has its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy will be updated accordingly.
