New to DingerAI? Here's how to get the most out of it in your first week.
Tap New Analysis on the home screen and film a swing (or upload one from your camera roll). For best results, film from the side along the 1B or 3B line, keep your full body and bat in frame, and start recording before your load.
In 15–30 seconds you'll get an overall score, bat speed, launch angle, and a mechanics breakdown for stance, stride, load, extension, follow-through, and more. Scroll to "Coach's Take" for personalized feedback.
Go to the Game Log tab and record stats from your games and scrimmages. Your spray chart and season totals update automatically.
With a Recruit subscription, browse 550+ verified D1 and D3 programs, see head coach contact info, and use our outreach templates to reach out directly.

With a Recruit subscription, tap any school in the Recruit tab to see the head coach's email. The app will open your device's mail client with a pre-filled outreach template you can customize before sending. All emails come from your own email account.
Videos you upload are sent to our servers for AI analysis and are deleted after analysis completes. When you consent, videos are also transmitted to Google's Gemini AI service to generate coaching feedback, without personal identifiers attached. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Our metrics are estimates based on video analysis. Under ideal filming conditions (good lighting, stable camera, side angle) they closely match readings from dedicated bat sensors and HitTrax systems. Actual numbers may vary based on video quality.
We use AppsFlyer to understand how new players find DingerAI so we can improve our app and reach more players. If you chose "Ask App Not to Track," we respect that choice. You can change your selection any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → DingerAI.
Yes — DingerAI is designed for players of all ages, from youth league through college. Players under 13 should use the app with parental supervision. There is no public social content or messaging between users inside the app.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds for subscription purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find your DingerAI purchase, and submit a refund request.
Sign in to DingerAI with the same account you used to purchase the subscription, then go to Profile → Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID on your device, your subscription will carry over.
DingerAI subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Analysis requires a stable internet connection since our AI runs on servers. Try these steps:
If the problem persists, email kevin@pawsitivetraining.org and include your account email and the approximate time you tried the upload.
The AI works best with clear, side-angle video of a full swing. If your video is blurry, taken at an odd angle, or cuts off before the follow-through, the analysis may be inaccurate. Try refilming with a stable phone on a tripod, good lighting, and a clear side view. If you're consistently seeing wrong feedback, email us and we'll take a look.
Make sure you're signed in to the same account on all your devices. Stats sync through your account, so logging out and back in often resolves sync issues. If stats are permanently missing, email support with your account email and we can help recover them.
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Open the app → Profile tab → tap the settings icon → tap Delete Account. This removes your account and associated data within 30 days. You can also email kevin@pawsitivetraining.org to request deletion.
Try force-quitting the app (swipe up from the home screen and swipe the app away), then reopening. If that doesn't work, make sure you're on the latest version in the App Store, and try restarting your phone. If the issue continues, email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a description of what happened.
